Gohar Droshakiryan is an artist based in Yerevan, Armenia, whose practice spans drawing, printmaking, and illustration. Working primarily with ink on paper, she explores identity, memory, and the layered narratives of everyday life.
Through etching, linocut, and screen printing combined with processes of layering, carving, and drawing she builds visual worlds that move between personal experience and collective memory. Her work is rooted in Armenian manuscript illumination, mythology, and folklore, weaving observation and imagination into narratives that are at once intimate and archetypal.
